Tasty Red Velvet Cupcakes


These are one of my favorite cupcakes to make. I'm a chocolate lover through and through, but these tasty cakes stole my heart. They have just enough cocoa to satisfy my chocolate craving and are wonderfully balanced by the buttermilk to satisfy those who are not so big on chocolate. The cream cheese frosting is amazing, whether you spread it on thin or swirl it on top like I did. I also like to bake with wheat flour which is wonderfully hidden by the richness of the frosting, the creaminess of the buttermilk, and hint of cocoa. There's not much more to say other than YUM!
