Taking a trip back to SLO for the first time in over a year has reminded me of how much I miss living here and also of how much I love going to The Cliffs with a group of friends to watch Still Time play, and when I say love I mean having one of those "awe" moments that you just can't put into words. I just stood there, with one of my best friends to the right of me, looking up at Still Time, then out to the right at the Pacific Ocean on a beautifully sunny day, with everyone surrounding me in the highest of spirits celebrating the day with some feel good music and a cocktail or beer in hand. It was one of those "Life is so good" weekends filled with so many good moments, the kind that just don't occur often enough and all you want is to frame and hang them on your wall as a daily reminder for when you're enduring those not-so-good moments. Well, I won't be hanging them on an actual wall in my room anytime soon, but this virtual wall of sorts should suffice for now.
